Best Restaurants Near KLCC — Our Local Favourites
Whether you’ve spent the day ticking off Petronas Twin Towers selfies or shaking hands at a conference, you don’t want to waste precious Kuala Lumpur evening minutes in traffic. Stay at Cormar Suites and every place on this list is a short walk away. Below are the four restaurants our own team heads to when we clock off—plus a quick nod to two neighbourly spots nearby. Pin them, book them, brag about them.

1. Malai Thai – MICHELIN Selected, a short walk away

Selected in the MICHELIN Guide 2024, 2025 and 2026 and Thai Select certified, Malai Thai is the crown jewel of restaurants near KLCC. The menu is entirely pork-free (note: pork-free, not halal-certified); the crab in yellow curry is a house signature. Find it on the ground floor of Menara Ample West, 6 Jalan Puncak, a short walk from Cormar’s lobby. Book on LetsUmai.
- Best for: client dinners and special occasions
- Walk time from Cormar Suites: a short walk
- Hours: 12 pm – 10 pm daily

2. The Dark Horse Bar & Grill – Sports, steaks & live music

Need to catch the big match or simply unwind with a cold beer? The Dark Horse (Life Centre, directly opposite Cormar) has seven big screens and live music every night from 6 pm. Meat lovers order the Argentine Black Angus steaks; burger fans go for the hand-pressed Australian beef burgers. The bar stays open till 2 am; the kitchen closes at midnight.
- Signature: Argentine Black Angus steak, the OG quarter-pounder
- Walk time: directly across the street
- Hours: 12 pm – 2 am daily (kitchen till midnight)
3. Parry Road Café – Coffee, pastries and pizza by the slice

Located on the ground floor of Cormar Suites, Parry Road Café is where we grab a flat white before meetings. Croissants, focaccia and artisan breads are made each morning by the café’s pastry chefs, alongside handmade pasta and pizza by the slice.
- Must-try: fresh croissants, pasta, pizza by the slice
- Walk time: none—it’s on Cormar’s ground floor
- Hours: Mon – Sat 10 am – 10 pm (closed Sunday)

4. Vincenzo’s Pizzeria – the best authentic Neapolitan pizza in town
Vincenzo’s Pizzeria, on the ground floor of Menara Ample West, 6 Jalan Puncak, by KL Tower, does one thing and does it properly: true Neapolitan pizza. The oven was built by hand, brick by brick, and runs at 450°C, so each pizza bakes in about ninety seconds, long enough for the crust to rise, blister and leopard-spot. San Marzano tomatoes, fior di latte, and the AVPN (Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana) guidelines as the rulebook. The kitchen is pork-free. Pizzas start from RM32.

- Must-try: Margherita (RM 38), Diavola (RM 48), Tartufo (RM 58); prices exclude 6% tax and 10% service charge
- Walk time: a short walk, in the same tower as Malai Thai
- Hours: 12 pm – 10 pm daily · menu and reservations
