Arriving at KLIA: our advice

  • Taxi counters cost more. Fixed-price taxi coupons from the arrivals counters are much more expensive than Grab or other e-hailing apps, often about double.
  • Travelling solo? Take the KLIA Ekspres to KL Sentral, then a Grab or the Monorail to Cormar Suites.
  • Two or more people? Grab or another e-hailing app is usually far cheaper than separate train tickets, and it takes you to the door.
  • Only use approved transport. Never accept a ride from people offering transport in the arrivals hall. Unlicensed taxis are illegal in Malaysia and not safe. Use e-hailing booked in the app, the official taxi counters, the trains or licensed buses.
  • Going beyond KL on a budget? Express buses run from the airport to towns across Malaysia. See KLIA airport buses and destinations.
  • Changing money? Airport money changers are often expensive. Use your bank card at an ATM or a licensed money changer in town. See changing money in Malaysia.
  • Premium service. Cormar Suites offers a premium Front Desk service for groups and discerning guests, and airport transfers can be booked in advance (fee applies). Ask the Front Desk on WhatsApp for details.
