KLIA Airport Buses: Destinations Beyond KL
Budget express buses run from KLIA Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 to central Kuala Lumpur and to towns across Peninsular Malaysia. They are the cheapest way to head straight from the airport to places like Melaka, Ipoh or Johor Bahru, but they are slower than the train or a car.
Where to catch the bus
- Terminal 2: the Transportation Hub on Level 1 of Gateway@klia2, where the bus operators have their ticket counters.
- Terminal 1: buses run from the Terminal 1 bus station; follow the “Bus” signs from arrivals.
- Buy at the operator counters, or book ahead on an online bus-ticket site. Check the latest departure times before you travel.
