Tickets & how to attend
Tickets are sold through Resorts World Genting (book.rwgenting.com), priced at RM299–RM1,099 (+RM4 processing fee). Buy only from the official seller: resale and unofficial tickets may be refused at the gate. Attendance: Ticketed. Everyone, including infants, needs a ticket; children under 95cm can buy a RM50 child ticket with no seat. No photography or video.
Getting to Resorts World Genting, Genting Highlands from Cormar Suites
- Easiest from Cormar Suites: walk about 10 minutes to Raja Chulan Monorail station and ride the Monorail to the end of the line at KL Sentral. Resorts World Genting express buses leave KL Sentral between 7.30am and 9.30pm for the Genting Highlands Premium Outlets (GHPO) terminal. Fares: RM10 bus only, or RM20 with the Awana SkyWay cable car. Book on the official Resorts World Genting website or redbus.my.
- Other official departure points: Terminal Bersepadu Gombak (TBG, next to Gombak LRT station; RM12 bus only), plus AeroBus services from TBS (Bandar Tasik Selatan), Pekeliling and Pudu Sentral. There is no official Resorts World Genting bus from KLCC.
- From GHPO, the Awana SkyWay cable car (RM11 one way) climbs to SkyAvenue at the top. Awana SkyWay is closed for maintenance from 12 to 16 October 2026; during that time the Genting SkyWay from Gohtong Jaya runs from 7am to 11pm. Cable car tickets: book.rwgenting.com.
- Getting back: the last Resorts World Genting bus from GHPO to KL Sentral leaves at 10.30pm, and the last AeroBus at 9.15pm. Evening shows can finish later, so plan a Grab back or stay the night.
- By Grab or car: about 1 hour from Cormar Suites without traffic, longer on Friday evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Genting is cooler than KL, so bring a light jacket.
