Domestic Flights in Malaysia

For Borneo, Langkawi and the islands, flying is quickest. Here is who flies where from KL.
Airlines and terminals
- From KLIA: AirAsia (T2), Malaysia Airlines (T1) and Batik Air (T2) all fly to Penang, Langkawi, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching. Borneo flights take about 2.5 hours; peninsula flights are usually under 1 hour.
- AirAsia domestic flights moved from Subang to KLIA T2 on 7 April 2025.
- From Subang (SZB): Batik Air flies to Penang, Kota Bharu, Kota Kinabalu and Kuching. Firefly also operates turboprops from Subang.
Starting from Cormar Suites
From Cormar Suites, reach KLIA by the KLIA Ekspres from KL Sentral (about 30 minutes) or by Grab (about an hour). Subang is about 30–45 minutes by Grab.
