City Tours in Ipoh, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu & Johor Bahru

Ipoh
- Ipoh/Perak HOHO: weekends, 8:30am-9:30pm, open-air buses on in-circuit and out-circuit routes starting at Meru Raya Terminal. 2020 prices: 1-day RM21 non-MyKad adult, RM11 MyKad. Unverified for 2026.
Kuching
- Kuching: Sarawak River cruises run about 1-1.5 hours past the Astana, Fort Margherita, the DUN building and Darul Hana Bridge. Sampan crossings are also available.
Kota Kinabalu
- Kota Kinabalu: no hop-on bus was found. City tours are run by agents (about 4 hours: Tun Mustapha Tower, City Mosque, Puh Toh Tze, State Museum, Filipino Market).
Johor Bahru
- Johor Bahru: a free Visit Johor 2026 tourist shuttle was announced for early 2026. It has 8 stops (JOTIC, Mercu Tanda 0 Km, Komtar JBCC, Galleria@Kotaraya, Sultan Ibrahim Building, Sultan Abu Bakar Heritage Complex, Johor Zoo, Kota Jail) and runs 8am-8pm. The launch is unconfirmed. Bas Muafakat Johor is a separate free state bus network.

Starting from Cormar Suites
Ipoh is about 2.5 hours from KL Sentral by ETS. Kuching and Kota Kinabalu are about 2 hours’ flight from KLIA. Johor Bahru is about 4.5 hours by ETS.
